Finding a nice neighborhood place

During the summer holidays, I visited the Echigo Herb Park in Irihirose, Uonuma in Niigata.

Even though the lavender gardens are out of season and the rose gardens are no longer in bloom, I could still enjoy extensive gardens and nice panoramic views from the observation deck.

It really refreshed me. The park has various facilities for camping, tree climbing, BBQ sites and so on. I had known about the park for a long time but had never visited it.

We cannot travel far these days which can be stressful. Therefore, this is a good opportunity for us to get to know our own neighborhoods better. There might be an unexpected treasure in your own backyard.
