Get energy from new buds (May 18, 2022)

The scenery of the Uonuma region is full of lively beauty in spring. As the remaining snow on the mountains melts, plants bud all at once. A combination of the white snow and the fresh green of the trees on the mountainside, and blue of sky on sunny days is the best of the best! In this season, I enjoy picking mountain vegetables which are the new buds of wild plants on the forest floor. In the bush, I can witness and absorb the energy and beauty of nature. New buds grow so rapidly that they cannot wait for me.

The best season to pick them differs between species, so I am also busy trying not to miss the best time for each one. Spring is the time when everyone and everything starts to move!
